Programme Director

Wilzaan Wium is an accomplished and visionary leader with extensive experience in human resources. Having worked in HR for many years, especially within the agricultural industry, Wilzaan recognises the significance of preparing learners for the appropriate roles in the future. Her expertise in HR practices, combined with her profound understanding of the agricultural landscape, allows her to guide our training programs effectively. Wilzaan’s commitment to nurturing the growth and development of individuals in the agricultural sector ensures our students receive the optimal preparation for successful careers.

Leandri Du Toit

Training Director

Leandri Du Toit is a highly skilled professional with extensive experience in training and development. As the Training Director at Star South Academy, Leandri’s primary focus is on ensuring the delivery of exceptional educational experiences to our students. She works closely with our instructors to develop engaging and relevant training materials that incorporate the latest industry practices and technological advancements. Leandri’s dedication to empowering individuals in the agricultural landscape shines through in every aspect of our training programs. She is one of only four ICC-accredited trainers for Incoterms®️ 2020 in Africa and is endorsed by the International Chamber of Commerce South Africa. Leandri is also a certified Facilitator and Assessor with TETA.

Jaco Rheeder

Jaco Rheeder is not only an industry expert but also owns and manages many companies in the fresh produce and supply chain industries. With his extensive knowledge and connections in the fresh produce and agriculture industry, both locally and abroad, Jaco brings invaluable insights to our team and students. His hands-on experience in managing a variety of industry-related companies gives him a unique perspective on the challenges and opportunities in the industry.
